This is a bitter-sweet season for Manchester City
The arrival of Pep Guardiola to Manchester City is something that has excited the supporters of the English club but the departure of Manuel Pellegrini is not something that is easy to take in.
Pellegrini’s reign in Manchester City started off back in June of 2013 and he has earned the trust as well as love of the supporters of the club and this is why seeing him leave is something that they did not want to happen.
The Chilean manager Manuel Pellegrini will be making his way out of Manchester City when this season ends and he will be replaced by Pep Guardiola who has already signed a 3 year long deal with the Premier League club.
Pep Guardiola is going to be replacing Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium and even though the supporters of Manchester City were happy to hear about the news of having an experienced and successful coach taking over the club, it’s still bitter-sweet as this is Pellegrini’s last season at the Etihad Stadium.
The supporters of Manchester City are making their voice be heard as they have been making tributes in honor of the Chilean manager.
"I always feel every season that I am here the support of the team. They always sing. I am very pleased about that because that means we are doing good work, we are an attractive team that plays good football and that's why people enjoy our games’’
"I always feel the commitment of all the players in our project. We are leading a very good season; we hope that we can finish in the same way.Maybe every game that we play it will be more difficult to continue in all the competitions but I feel that the squad has full commitment to the project so I am very happy about that." Manchester City’s Pellegrini said.
Even though the season still hasn’t reached it’s end, there already are rumors going on involving which club Pellegrini will take charge off and Chelsea is turning into a possible destination as they are in search of a new long term coach and Pellegrini is an experienced manager who still wants to continue extending his managerial career who will become available at the end of the season.
